Revelation 21 is a chapter to be memorized, where future things are explored, and worldly things are remembered no more. Do yourself a favor and read the chapter in a quiet place and then make the time to listen to the following sermon, which is the first of five, on the magnificent place that the redeemed will occupy.
The first of five sermons from the book of Revelation by John MacArthur
WHERE I WANNA BE
A poem by Joe Durso
Heaven is where I wanna be, where Jesus means everything to me. Even now we’re seated in the heavenlies, above all angelic rule and authority.
Heaven is where I wanna be, where Jesus will reign for all eternity. Incredibly Jesus shares His reign with me, and all those whose shared sufferings He sees
Heaven is where I wanna be, the ultimate land of milk and honey. Where Jesus is the food we seek, only to Him may all the glory be
Heaven is where I wanna be, where the water of life flows constantly. Better than any earthly well; You see, it’ll quench throughout all eternity.
Heaven belongs to all those who believe and take God at His word, the Bible. They have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, that was slain, and even now sits at the right hand of God the Father. The world, the flesh, and the devil seek to tempt and destroy true believers, but they overcome them. Indeed, the faithful overcome by the word of their testimony and blood of the Lamb. I do hope you are one of them.
